Happy St. Patty's Day!

It's Naptime...

... so in a moment of silence I am attempting a blog post. Obviously with two little girls, the days of monthly or even bi-monthly blog posts are probably over, at least for the time being. But I am doing my best to update pictures on a somewhat regular basis. Until Grandma and Grandpa Udvardi get here for their 6 month stay, we are on our own. With the exception of the two days a week that Maeve goes to daycare, we don't get a break, so blogging has fallen to the wayside. Sorry 'bout that.

Isla is now just over 7 weeks and growing like a weed. Seriously, the kid loves to eat and just keeps growing and growing. The newborn clothes were put away several weeks ago and she is solidly wearing size 3 months. Her double chin and thigh rolls are well established. Her first month was punctuated by some fussiness, but that seems to have passed and she gives us a lot of smiles and is already cooing. Another happy baby maybe?

And Maeve is most definitely in her terrible 2's. While she is still very engaging and friendly, Ash and I often refer to her as a 'rapid-cycler" due to her resembling a very short and unmedicated mental patient. Of course she is still a lot of fun and absolutely adorable, but her "spirited" nature can be exhausting. Her language is growing in leaps and bounds and it's hard not to laugh when you remind her it's time to go potty and her response is "No, I'm too busy". Her Opa has referred to it as being precocious!

Gotta go, Isla is awake and voicing her displeasure!
