Growth still right on target, heartbeat thumping away at something like 167 bpm. Aside from a very quick ultrasound at just past 10 weeks to find a baby elusive with a doppler, we wouldn't have another ultrasound until 19 weeks.
Obviously, the blob is starting to look less like a blob and more like...a peanut shell (Mr. Peanut without the top hat and cane?). And no we don't know which end is which, but then again, neither did the nurse/ultrasound tech who does this all day, every day. There's some joke to be made there, but I'll leave that for another time.
